Hands-on with the Sigma Bf: stylish, unique, and a bit uncomfortable to hold.
On the front, there’s only the lens mount and a release button — flat and minimal. The Sigma Bf features a 24.6MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor. Its native ISO range spans from 100 to 102,400 and can be extended down to 6, 12, 25, and 50.
It’s not easy to hold comfortably like a regular camera, as it’s a solid CNC-machined aluminum block with sharp edges — not exactly hand-friendly.
However, it’s still usable for shooting and such — after a while, you get used to it.
Attaching a metal lens gives it a very industrial and rugged look.
The multi-directional control button is also made of metal.
Even the shooting display shows very minimal information. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen with 2.1 million dots.
