DECRIPTION:
Today we unveil a new technology in the world of Android smartwatches. This is the first watch to sport 16GB of memory, and it comes in a very attractive package. You are looking at a prototype watch here, and Banged, our support sponsor on this watch, will be sending out a production unit when they are available toward the end of March so we can show you any differences or updates.
As you’ll discover in this video, not only does the watch have an excellent design with no raised bezel edge, but it has been updated with the latest firmware to support installing custom watch faces the same way as is done with the KW88 smartwatch running the latest firmware. This watch has two other great features, a very loud side speaker and a super strong GPS that holds a solid lock even indoors — something no other smartwatch has been able to do until now.

UPDATE 2017-03-15: Apps and Memory
For those of you interested, things just got better regarding this LES1’s use of memory or storage space. Apps are installed in the huge 12+ GB of available space and not crammed into the tiny 1GB “RAM” partition. Sometimes on these watches RAM isn’t really RAM but internal memory and what they call ROM is external memory where you can download apps, but when you install them they go into the internal memory (or RAM as it is being misused). Not so with the LES1. Both the downloaded app files (.apk) AND the subsequent installed app files (not visible without rooting) live on the larger ROM (again, wrong term but sticking with Chinese nomenclature) memory. So not only do you have 12+ GB available, but after you download and install the apps you want, you can simply delete the downloaded .apk files and free up that space, leaving only the actual installed apps on your watch. HUGE advantage over watches that do it differently.
UPDATE 2017-03-15+ Battery test results
Day 1 all day test, 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, light use, WiFi on, location services on, turn arm to see time on, watch timeout set for 1 minute, pedometer always on and counting steps: Battery at 62%
This included streaming about a half hour of music via Google Play
over WiFi. SIM card installed, but data service off and no calls made or received. Now going to charge it back up to 100% overnight.
Day 2 after full charge, all day test 8AM ti 8PM, medium use, WiFi on, cellular data on and used out of WiFi range for maps, location services on, turn arm to see time on, watch timeout set for 1 minute, pedometer always on and counting steps (8088 of them): Battery at 25%. Used a few apps briefly, made a couple of short calls, checked heart rate a few times.
